Daniel Pinto (13 May 1967) started riding at the age of seven. He lives in Arruda dos Vinhos, Portugal, where he runs his own stable, Academia Dressage de Portugal. He represented Portugal at the 2001, 2007, 2009 and 2015 European Championships, at the 2007 World Cup final in Las Vegas, at the 1998, 2006 and 2010 World Equestrian Games and at the 2000 and 2008 Olympic Games.
His horse Santurion de Massa ((2006) is a Portuguese bred gelding by Munchausen x Estoiro.
