Jorinde Verwimp (10 November 1994) was born into an equestrian family. Her father Wim was a successful international dressage rider. Her family owns Dressuurstal Verwimp in Wiekevorst, Belgium. The Verwimp farm has been passed through the generations since the 12th century. She is trained by Anky van Grunsven and Sjef Janssen. Jorinde competed at three European Pony Championships (2007, 2008, 2009) and two European Junior Championships (2011 and 2012). In 2013 she switched to the Young Riders and won team bronze at the European Championships. In 2014 she represented Belgium at the European Young Riders Championship and in 2015 she was a member of the Belgian dressage team at the European Championships in Aachen.
Her horse Tiamo (2000) is a KWPN gelding by Lester x Hemmingway.
